I have a three-monitor system but sometimes the resolution of a monitor is "forgotten." By this I mean that one of my monitors is 1440x900 but sometimes after a reboot, the highest resolution that Windows or Ultramon will let me select is 1280x1024. Needless to say it looks awful because the resolution is wrong. I don't know how to get the 1440x900 resolution to appear. It eventually reappears as an option after a random number of reboots or sometimes disconnecting/reconnecting the monitor in some combination of disabling/enabling the monitor in Ultramon. Usually, at the same time, Ultramon forgets where the monitors are relative to each other.
This is very frustrating. Screen resolutions and the relative position of each screen is the primary purpose of Ultramon (at least for me), so this is very frustrating.
My configuration is as stated below, but I've also had this happen on a two-monitor system where the USB-Video device was *not* in play, so this can't be a problem with the USB-Video device.
Help, please!
I'm using Version 3.0.0 (3.0 beta 1).

I'm not sure what would cause this, but this is handled by Windows, not by UltraMon.
UltraMon can't set the higher resolution if it's not listed as being available, but once it's available again you could use an UltraMon display profile to restore the correct position of all monitors. You can set up display profiles via UltraMon menu > Display Profiles.
