I want to switch the Start Menu Button + Taskbar to the external monitor, but I can't make it happen.
I have a laptop with an external monitor, and an Nvidia 7800GTX graphics card with Nvidia's Forceware 158.22.
My laptop screen is Monitor 1, and my external is Monitor 2.
My laptop is to the right of the external monitor.
If I switch primary monitor to monitor 2, the screen goes dark and returns looking exactly as it did before.
I have only been able to get this work by going into NVIdia's driver software, and swapping the Monitor ID's (so my laptop screen becomes Monitor 2).
But this only lasts until I disconnect the external monitor - after which the laptop screen becomes monitor 1 again, and all my profiles stop working.
Is this fixable?

You can drag the taskbar to the other monitor by grabbing a free area on the taskbar with the mouse, just make sure the taskbar isn't locked.
