I am not sure if this works but anyway here is the question :)
Is there a way to have 1 big task bar so that the start menu is on the primary(monitor 1), and that the clock is at the end of the monitor 2?

UltraMon can't do this.
If you are using an Nvidia video card: the Nvidia nView Desktop Manager supported this on XP, but I'm not sure if that still works with Vista.

Well sadly Nvidia didn't seem to have added that feature to vista then :(
