I've just set up a new gaming machine with an Asus EN8800GTS 320MB (using 158.22 Forceware drivers) and am running two monitors using NVIDIA's dualview configuration.
Ultramon worked fine on my previous system, but now when I install the program it works fine until I reboot. Rebooting causes the system to revert to 4-bit colour (causing multiple programs to crash on startup as they require > 256 colours) and my graphics card is not recognised. Reinstalling the card's drivers (either 158.22 or earlier version on the gfx card's CD) in this mode does not fix the problem. System restore to an earlier point corrects it. This has happened both times I've tried it and Ultramon is definitely the offending program.
Any ideas?

Seems to be a compatibility issue with some video card driver versions and UltraMon's mirroring feature, see this thread for more on this.

Thanks - this fixed the problem perfectly. Congrats on an excellent little piece of software; don't know how I'd live without it now!
