When i set the smart taskbar to the right or left side of the screen, instead of having an adgustable size, to make its width wider so you can see the applications, its only as wide as the bar would be tall if it were on the bottom, so i can only see the icon from the app button, no words.
it happens on both vista and XP.
also, is there no more auto-hide option?

See this thread for information on resizing the UltraMon taskbar.
Per-taskbar autohide is no longer supported, UltraMon will use the same setting as the main taskbar for all taskbars.
I'll consider adding support for this again, but can't guarantee that the feature will be added.
