hi.
DURING INSTALL, nothing happens when i press the 'next' button on the registration information step (where it states: 'leave empty to use the software in trial mode').
so i cannot get to the next step and complete the installation!!
i think it is due to the install script in the .msi package and its way to handle security.
here is why i suspect that:
- i have a win2k restricted account. if i launch the install via this account: everything works fine on the registration information step and i can get to the next step.
however, with limited rights this account cannot go all the way, and the install rollback afterward.
- i do however have another account at hand, which is a local machine admin.
i installed all software that requires admin rights with this account without any problem so far.
except with ultramon where i get with the local machine admin account the issue i described at the very top ('next' button not working on the registration step).
the problem occurs either if i do a 'run as' or if i logoff and back in with the local admin account.
i cannot obviously have network admin account.
i am using windows 2000 sp4 (french version) & MSIEXEC 3.01.4000.1823 (associated with .msi).
i even tried to get files out the .msi package with universal extractor (successfully, but still many install steps did not happen, so i quickly end up with 'failed to load resource ultramonres.dll').
please, help with the install... :)

Please do a logged install as described here and send me the log file to support@realtimesoft.com.
In general this should work fine, I do most test setups from local admin accounts.
