So I have ultramon running on a 3 monitor display, but I have confirmed this happens on a two monitor situation as well.

Every once in a while, when I click on the desktop on one monitor, the windows that are open on the other monitors minimize to their taskbars.

To help, I have a separate taskbar for each monitor, and restarting Ultramon fixes the problem.

Does this happen when you click on an empty area of the desktop?

Yes, I found the way to replicate it.

1) Have windows open, on both monitors.

2) Click the "Show Desktop" button in the quick links toolbar once. All windows minimize to respective taskbars.

3) Now click on a minimized window button in the taskbar to maximize the window.

4) Now click on an empty spot on the desktop on another monitor... that window you just "restored" now hides again to the taskbar.

Te way to reverse this is to click the "show desktop" button again, but that restores all windows.

I do not know, this might be by design..

Hope I explained it good enough.

I've been able to reproduce this issue, happens if you're using the Smart Taskbar in standard mode (where each taskbar only shows tasks from the monitor it is on). The issue doesn't occur if the Smart Taskbar is in mirror mode.

This seems to be an issue with Show Desktop, apparently it has a couple of issues if not all open tasks are on the Windows taskbar.

Another issue is that if you show the desktop, then activate an application from the Windows taskbar, the tasks from the UltraMon taskbars get shown as well.

There's no real fix for this, but UltraMon 3 will have its own Show Desktop feature, which should fix those issues.
