I suspect (I've been known to be wrong) that the latest XP security upgrade may be causing a problem with my version of Version 2.6 23.0
The patch installed itself. The Windows taskbar now only appears on monitor 2 at the right instead of monitor 1.
When I enable the taskbar to stretch across both monitors, it stacks on top of the existing taskbar and won't move.
It odesn;t cause any real problem other than to annoy me because I can;t figure out a fix.
Here is the config info:
2 monitors
Current desktop: 3200x1200 (0,0 - 3200,1200)
Monitor 1 - Default Monitor (primary):
Settings: 1600x1200, 32-bit color, 75 Hz refresh rate
Coordinates: 0,0 - 1600,1200. Workspace: 0,0 - 1600,1200
Video card: 256MB ATI RADEON X600
Device: \\.\DISPLAY1\Monitor0
Monitor 2 - Plug and Play Monitor:
Settings: 1600x1200, 32-bit color, 60 Hz refresh rate
Coordinates: 1600,0 - 3200,1200. Workspace: 1600,0 - 3200,1136
Video card: 256MB ATI RADEON X600 Secondary
Device: \\.\DISPLAY2\Monitor0
The info pasted shows one refresh rate being 60 and the other being 75... but when I look at the settings it says they are both 60.

I tried the fix in the FAQ at this address:

I now have a task bar across both monitors, but the primary part appears on the wrong monitor.

To move the Windows taskbar to the other monitor, right-click it and make sure 'Lock the Taskbar' isn't checked, then drag it to the other monitor with the mouse.
You'll need to reset the Smart Taskbar configuration again after moving the Windows taskbar.
