This is a great utility. It could be a little bit more user-friendly. It took me a little while to figure how to create a regular window shortcut and put it on my desktop.
Now to the problem: I have windows ME. My primary card is a ATI Radeon all-in-wonder. My secondary is a ATI xpert 128 (with original windows ME drivers).
When I preview or actually use the screensaver on my second monitor. There is only a picture displayed on the upper left corner at a size of 1 inch by 1 inch and the rest of the screen is black. I noticed that the picture is the same as the one displayed in the screensaver setup window. The problem doesn't occur with multi-monitor screensavers. The primary is working fine. Any ideas?
By curiosity, at what interval do you release the versions of ultramon, every 3 to 4 months? I know that's the kind of questions programmer don't like to answer because it raise expectations (I know, I am one). From what I see in this forum, there seams to be so many interesting and practical things that could be added to the program.
Thanks

Screen savers on secondary monitors run in preview mode. The problem is that some screen savers just display a static image or blank window in preview mode, instead of a preview of the screen saver itself. The only workaround is to run these screen savers on the primary monitor.
See UltraMon Add-ons for a short list of screen savers that work fine on secondary monitors.
Regarding the release schedule: I'm always aiming for a release every 2 months, but it usually takes a bit longer. I hope to have Beta 5 ready by the end of August. Multiple taskbars will be the major new feature in this release. I agree with you that the user interface needs improvement, and plan to implement changes in time for the 2.0 final release.
