When I mirror the monitor, I can't use Java or use Internet Explorer. If I take it off of mirroring, it works great.

Do you get an error message when starting Internet Explorer while UltraMon mirroring is active?
I noticed no problems with IE when using UltraMon mirroring, I tested with IE6 and UltraMon 2.6 on Windows XP SP2.
