I'm having the problem that my start bar doesn't display the programs that is running anymore. It used to do it fine, but now programs that start after ultramon doesn't display on the normal start bar. It shows on the ultramon smart bar, but not on the normal start bar.
I have tried to turn the start bar to mirror and nonmirroring, but it doesn't change anything. Anybody got any hints? Thank you

Please check if the problem goes away when you close UltraMon, to do this right-click the UltraMon icon in the system tray and select Close from the menu.
My guess would be that this issue isn't related to UltraMon, when the Smart Taskbar mode is set to mirror, you should always have all tasks on all taskbars.

Thank you for the reply.
When I close ultramon, the problem is not immediately resolved. Those windows that are currently opened do not show, however, newly opened windows do show.

What happens if you restart UltraMon? Do the tasks running on the monitor with the Windows taskbar once again show up on the Windows taskbar?
You can restart UltraMon via the shortcut in Start Menu > Programs.

I have the same problem even after closing and restarting Ultramon. When closing the Smart Bar all my running programs appear on the Windows start bar but once it is enabled all running programs only show up on the Smart Bar.

Jeff, that's most likely a configuration issue.
To fix this, right-click the UltraMon taskbar, and make sure that 'Show Tasks from' isn't configured to also show tasks from the monitor with the Windows taskbar.

I've seen the start menu "disappear" until a restart occured - clicking start did nothing and right-clicking and exploring showed items missing. This was non-ultramon related and wrnt away after a serious anti-spyware cleanup and Office settings auto-recovery process.
