I installed v2.6 on my PC using my admin ID. When I login to the same PC as a user (not admin) I don't have Ultramon available. My user login has the local machine registry settings but there are no local user settings. I need to have it available for my user login since I can't use my admin login for daily production use. Any suggestions?
Under my admin login I gave all users of this PC full rights to the Ultramon folder, thinking that would help. Still no go.

When logged in as a regular user, do you have UltraMon listed under Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs?
If it isn't listed, UltraMon was only installed for the admin user account.
You would need to uninstall UltraMon, then reinstall it with the 'install for all users of this computer' option selected on the Installation Type page of the setup.

I removed and re-installed, still only the Admin user has it. There's no "Installation Type" option given in the installer.

Please run a logged install as described here and send me the log file to support@realtimesoft.com.
The installation type dialog won't be shown in the following cases:
- this is an upgrade install instead of a clean install - the installation is run by a regular non-admin user - the operating system is Windows 98/Me

Christian,
I found and fixed the problem. MY PC wasn't in the correct Active Directory group. I had admin privileges for only my admin user ID. Our AD group corrected that and on re-install I got the "install for all users" choice and it was successful.
Thanks!
