I never had this problem before, but now after putting my firefox window on my second monitor but then dragging it back to my primary, it always opens new windows on the secondary mon instead of the primary. Help?

Try closing Firefox on the primary monitor, most likely this will fix the problem.

used the info in the suggested thread. got it fixed by leaving the window unrestored and moving to other monitor, closing the window, then re-opening it and maximizing.
