I have found that, once I install PowerDVD, my power save no longer works with the screens are staying on all the time. I uninstaled PowerDVD and the power save works again. Any idea how to get around this?

That's most likely an issue with PowerDVD, unfortunately I don't know if there is a workaround for this.
I would recommend contacting PowerDVD Support.

I've got PowerDVD installed and everything works fine. Seems more likely its in issue with an other system component.
