I use a 9x Systems 3 monitor image on my machine. Up until today, no problems. It stretched it across all three monitors. Today, no matter what background I pick in Ultramon menu, none display. Just blackness.. If I go to Windows properties and select an image from there, they work, but are dumb old windows things. Help? System is

Please check if the wallpaper bitmap generated by UltraMon contains the image you selected.
To do this, go to the folder My Documents\My Wallpapers and take a look at the .bmp file with the same name as your UltraMon wallpaper, for example Default.bmp.

I did a complete uninstall/reinstall of ultramon 2.6 I just got off the website. After the install, I right click on the icon in the toolbar, and I select Wallpaper...
Then I define a new wallpaper, because all I see are: (/) (None) and [ ] Default
I create a wallpaper pointed at a JPG file that is 3078x1024 and I tell it to use one background for the whol;e desktop, and stretch it to fill in the corners. Background is set to single color (black). Everything looks fine, the three little monitor windows show exactly what I want to see.
I press Apply and nothing changes on the desktop, the apply button goes grey and Ultramon seems to think everything is OK. I go look at the my documents\my wallpapers folder and see nothing but default.wallpaper and Desktop.ini. No bmp's at all.. Help?

More info...
I tell UltraMon to create an entry that is NOT available to all users, and it seems to do more. It puts the following files into MY 'My Wallpapers' folder as described. There is a 'stan.wallpaper' file, and a 'stan.bmp' file created that is 11,521kb and if I open that bmp file it shows the correct image. Still nothing shows on actual desktop.

If you go to Windows Display Properties > Desktop after you have applied the stan wallpaper, is stan shown as the current background, and is Position set to Tile?

Under WIndows -> Display Props -> Desktop, the Stan image is not seen in the list. Does it need to be there? I will mve it over and retry your suggestions.. Thanks!

moved my .jpg image over to windows\web\wallpaper annd it did show up in list. I selected it, tiled it and it shows up under windows. But when I go back over to ultramon, and do a right click then wallpaper, then create a New wallpaper, callit stan2 and then browse to the .jpg image in windows\web\wallpaper\ it shows me the picture in all three monitors exactly as I had hoped, I press apply and get nothing but blackness for a wallpaper. Options selected are: one background image for entire desktop Background single color (black) Image points to the stan.jpg in windows\web\wallpaper\ Style Tile/Center/Stretch all seem to have no effect on displaying the picture...
Help?

The problem seems to be that UltraMon can no longer set the wallpaper, unfortunately I don't know what might cause this.
As a workaround, you could manually set the bitmap generated by UltraMon as the current wallpaper.
To do this, apply the wallpaper via UltraMon, then go to Windows Display Properties > Desktop, click on Browse, go to My Documents\My Wallpapers (or Shared Documents\Shared Wallpapers), select the wallpaper bitmap, for example Default.bmp, and then set Position to Tile.
