I'm using UltraMon 2.6.23.0 on Windows XP SP2 w/ two monitors. With UltraMon running, pressing Win+M to minimize all windows only minimizes windows on the primary monitor and not the secondary monitor. Is this a known bug, or is there a setting to change this, or? Thanks.

The problem is that WIN+M only minimizes the applications which are on the Windows taskbar.
As a workaround, you could use WIN+D (Show Desktop), this will work fine with UltraMon's Smart Taskbar.

Is there an UltraMon script that can mimick the same functionality as Win+M to all monitors? Win+D isnt a good solution because it doesnt truly minimize all windows -- when you re-maximize one window the rest go to their previous positions.

Unfortunately that's not possible, UltraMon scripting doesn't support enumerating all open windows.
A WIN+M replacement is planned for UltraMon 3.

I have this same problem and also agree that Win-D(show desktop) is not a good replacement for Win-W(minimize all windows). For one thing, the Win-D will not keep all other windows minimized once you re-select one window - they all come back. Also, if you have yahoo widgets running, which I do, then these also disappear when you select Win-D. Often I want to Win-W so that I can see a widget, but instead I have to minimize each window by hand.
I see that there is a planned fix for version 3, but when is that expected to be released? This post I'm replying to is originally from 2005, and here in March '07 there's still no fix? This is something important enough to me that I'd rather uninstall UltraMon than not be able to use Ctrl-W.
Please lmk when you expect a fix. Thanks.
