P4 machine, Win XP, UltraMon 2.5. Has anyone had any experience using UltraMon with roaming profiles. I need to set up one UltraMon profile that everyone will load when they login.

I haven't tested this myself, some potential issues you might encounter:
- UltraMon stores several paths in the registry, if the software isn't installed in the same location on all systems this would cause problems
- by default the wallpaper bitmap, which is usually several MB in size, is stored under My Documents\My Wallpapers, which is a roaming folder. This might cause delays when the profile is downloaded from the server. As a workaround, you could change the location of the wallpaper folder to a non-roaming local folder.
To change the wallpaper folder, run regedit.exe, select the key 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\Wallpaper', then change the 'Wallpaper Directory' value

Thank you for your rapid response. The UltraMon software would only be loaded on one machine. I would prefer that the UltraMon profile be saved in the "All User" folder if possible. Would this cause everyone that logs in to this machine to have the same UltraMon settings loaded?

This would be possible, but would need to be set up manually:
1) configure UltraMon as desired, then save the registry key 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon' to a .reg file
2) open the .reg file in a text editor, and replace user-specific paths such as 'C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\Profiles' with a shared path, for example 'C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\Profiles'. Create the new shared folders if necessary
3) replace 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER' in the .reg file with 'HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT', then import the .reg file
Every new user will now use the default settings stored under HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT, and files such as profiles, shortcuts and wallpapers created by the user will be stored in the shared folders.
Please note that users can still change settings, UltraMon will only use the settings stored under HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT if no settings are stored for the user under HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
