I am trying the Ultamon program in a dual monitor setup.
Primary monitor: Dell 20" 2005FPW Secondary monitor: Viewsonic 18" VX-800 Video card: Radeon x800xt
I have the Smart taskbar on the secondary monitor. When a screensaver takes over - it functions normally, except a sliver (approximately 2-3 mm) of the Smart Taskbar is visible at the bottom of the screen (on the secondary monitor).
Is it possible to make the Smart Taskbar completely dissappear on the secondary monitor when the screensaver starts?
Thanks.

Okay, I figured it out. Right click on smart taskbar, and uncheck "show border when hidden". Now when screensaver starts - no taskbar is seen.

Another solution would be to run the screen saver via UltraMon, you could then leave the 'Show Border When Hidden' setting enabled.
To do this, right-click the UltraMon icon in the system tray, select Screen Saver > Configure from the menu, then assign the screen saver to the primary monitor and exit the dialog with OK.

Hey, thanks. It works just as you say!
It also works if I assign the same screensaver to both the primary and secondary monitors.
But just wondering if there is supposed to be a difference between assigning one screensaver to only the primary monitor; or the same screensaver to both monitors?
In both cases, the screensaver ("gphoto show") launches on both monitors simultaneously.

If you assign the screen saver only to the primary monitor, and 'preview mode' isn't checked, the screen saver will run as it would normally: if it doesn't have multi-monitor support it will run on the primary monitor only (UltraMon will blank the secondary monitors), and if it has multi-monitor support, it will run on all monitors.
With the screen saver assigned to both monitors, two instances of the screen saver will get launched by UltraMon.

"With the screen saver assigned to both monitors, two instances of the screen saver will get launched by UltraMon."
Which way would you say is a better way to run a screensaver with multimonitor support?
If two instances of the screen saver gets launched by UltraMon - will it look any different from the situation where the screensaver is assigned only to the primary monitor?
(Looking at "gphoto show" again, maybe it runs faster when it is assigned to both monitors, but I am not sure).

In general you should only assign the screen saver to the primary monitor, and leave 'preview mode' unchecked.
Running two instances of a screen saver with multi-monitor support has no advantages, and might cause problems.
The only exception is if you enable 'preview mode' for the screen saver on the primary monitor. In this case, each instance of the screen saver is restricted to a single monitor. UltraMon uses a screen saver's preview mode to run screen savers without multi-monitor support on secondary monitors.
