I need to know how to show the same view on both screens. When I undock my laptop and use it for presentations, I need to be able to view the actual presentation on my laptop as it is displayed on the projector.

You want clone mode. If you can't find the appropriate setting in the video card software, which would give you the best performance, then I think UltraMon has the ability to clone one screen onto another.
If you use the video card's clone mode, then you'll need to find a single resolution that works well on both the laptop's screen and the projector, since they'll both have to be the same. That resolution should ideally be the native resolution of the projector.

Capisco bene questo problema, soprattutto quando dopo una lunga giornata di lavoro vuoi solo che la presentazione funzioni senza complicazioni. Una volta ho passato quasi tutta la sera a cercare di sistemare una configurazione simile prima di una riunione e avevo bisogno di staccare un attimo la testa. Mentre navigavo ho trovato per caso Spingranny e ho deciso di provare qualche giro su Starburst. All’inizio sono arrivate solo piccole perdite, poi ho rischiato una puntata un po’ più alta e ho preso una vincita davvero buona. Dopo quella pausa sono tornato al problema molto più rilassato.
