Hello.
I am using UltraMon 2.5 on a three monitor system. 1 42" Plasma is Monitor 1 (hooked via DVI to a PixelPerfect Kyro64 PCI based card from Imagine Graphics LTD). 2 15" NEC LCD monitors are monitors 2 and 3 (RGB via a Radeon 9000 AGP).
I want a particular program to display maximized on the Plasma upon Windows 2000 login. The program shortcut is in the startup folder. I have tried configuring the UltraMon tabs in the shortcut properties, but when making changes (run in maximize on monitor 1), the "APPLY" button never lights up. So, the change never saves.
Right now, everytime I log onto Windows 2000, the starup program launches full screen on Monitor 2, which is configured as the primary display device in the display properties. I have to manually send it to Monitor 1.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

Just click on OK instead, this way the changes will get saved.
Please note that custom UltraMon settings can't be configured for all shortcuts, for example shortcuts for Office applications.
In this case clicking OK will work fine, but when you open the properties for the shortcut again, the settings on the UltraMon tabs will have been reset to the defaults. The next release of UltraMon will no longer add the UltraMon tabs to shortcuts which can't be customized.

Thanks,
I did click OK. Didn't help. This is probably a program that won't play along with Ultramon (World Watch 8.1 by www.exptech.com).
Thanks anyway!

To verify this, open properties for the shortcut, then take a look at the Target field on the Shortcut tab. If it is grayed out, configuring settings via the UltraMon tabs won't work.
You can still use UltraMon to launch and position the application, via a manually-created shortcut.
To do this, right-click the UltraMon icon in the system tray, select Shortcuts > New Shortcut from the menu, then select the application you want to launch and configure the position etc as desired.
