It could be great if a dualview version of WinKey+M could be added to UltraMon. The WinKey+M do only minimize all windows on the primary monitor.
I could be great if it instead minimized all windows where the mouse is located, (or perhaps on all monitors, the first will be preferred).
If there is anyone that knows of a program or plug-in that have this feature then please post a reply with a link in here.
Thanks

winkey+M minimizes all open windows on all displays, not just the primary. if it's not working for you, then you have something screwy...
having the facility to minimize all apps on the active display sounds like an interesting suggestion for ultramon. if the user can control the hothey (say shift - Right-Click) this could be useful.

I have done some tests and have found out it closes all open windows that are located in the real windows taskbar.
But sins many of them has been moved to the UltraMon taskbar on the second monitor then using WinKey+M does not work, if I disables the UltraMon taskbar and have all open programs in the real windows taskbar then I have no problems.
I'm using Windows 2000 so this may have been changed in XP.

by golly, you're right. with Smart Taskbars enabled, winkey-M only acts on the #1 display.
Christian [Studer], isn't this a rather undesired feature ie. a small bug. :-)
speaking as a windows 'purist', winkey-M should minimize all windows on all the displays even if Smart Taskbars are enabled. at the very least, ultramon should have a way of toggling this behavior if smark taskbars are enabled since they are probably cases when a user would want all windows minimized and in other cases only on #1.

WIN+M only seems to minimize the applications which are on the Windows taskbar, unfortunately there is no fix for this.
As a workaround, you could use WIN+D instead of WIN+M, does the same thing but also works correctly with the Smart Taskbar running.
Per-monitor Show Desktop is planned for UltraMon 3, I'll also consider a Show Desktop on Active Monitor feature.

Windows+D performs as advertised, thanks Christian.
However, windows+D forces a redraw of the desktops, which makes the icons flicker.
I'm looking forward to version 3.

thanks for the tip. yeah, win-D does a redraw whereas win-M does not.
looking forward to seeing v3 and the new features... :-)
