Should work fine, make sure you are using the latest version of UltraMon, 2.5.
Also see this thread for more on this issue.

I see the exact same problem.
Winamp 5.07 Ultramon 2.5
If I use the modern skin, moving the window from monitor to monitor causes the taskbar button to jump to the primary monitor and stay there (regardless of which monitor winamp is running on). The same is true at launch. Winamp always opens on monitor 3, but the taskbar button is on monitor 1. The only way I'm able to get the taskbar button on the correct monitor is to right-click on the ultramon taskbar for that monitor and toggle the "Show tasks from #" off and then back on. If I use the classic skin everything works fine.

I'll test again with the latest version of Winamp, but the last time I tested, it worked fine with the modern skin.
Maybe it's an issue with a specific configuration setting, I tested with default settings.

I have now tested again with Winamp 5.08 and UltraMon 2.5, but haven't been able to reproduce the issue.
Modern skin was used, with all settings at default, and only the main Winamp window open (no playlist or media library). The taskbar button for Winamp was always placed on the correct monitor, independent of the monitor Winamp opened on.
My guess would be that the issue you are seeing is due to some setting in Winamp. Please try if you still have the problem when using Winamp with default settings after installation.

I ma having same problem with the modern Skin. I added a fourth monitor, and on modern skin, it taskbar button won't move to the last monitor. Oddly, if I go to the move to other monitor command, a new instance of Winamp Classic shows up. Strange indeed.

I've seen the issue with the Move to Monitor menu command as well, but currently don't have a fix for it.
I would recommend disabling the menu commands for Winamp under UltraMon Options > Window Menu.
