I want to buy one of those new SLI systems with two GF6800 Nvidia Cards and connect 3 monitors in desktop span mode so I can get panoramic gaming.
That would be awesome! Can it be done with UltraMon? I read that Nview from Nvidia doesn't support it :(

UltraMon won't help with this, the display driver would need to support span mode across multiple video cards.

I'm not aware of any video card which supports span mode across multiple cards.
The Matrox Parhelia has a 3-monitor span mode, but performance-wise it can't compete with current high-end cards.
