Hi

When I initially install and run ultramon it runs great until I reboot. When the system comes back online several of my systray icons are opened as dialog boxes (for lack of a better term) without close button etc in the 2nd monitor whereas they should just be displayed in the systray.

If i stop ultramon from starting automatically when windows boots and start it manually then it works fine. Is there any way to stop these systray icons opening as dialog boxes?

Many Thanks

Chris

If you have the Nvidia nView Desktop Manager enabled, make sure you have the latest version of the Nvidia drivers.

There was a compatibility issue with early 5x.xx versions of the Nvidia drivers, which caused hidden windows to be shown when UltraMon was started during system startup.

It was V6.14 I had installed of the nView Desktop Manager, but I disabled it anyway and it runs fine now... Many thanks

6.14 could also be 5x.xx drivers, the actual driver version is in the last part of the version number, for example the version number of the 61.77 drivers is 6.14.10.6177.
