Forums -> UltraMon™ -> Wallpaper feature only changes one monitor

Hello,
I am using Ultramon 2.5. Starting out with XP's standard wallpaper, I have two identical wallpapers on my two monitors.

When I right click on the UltraMon icon in the taskbar and select "Wallpaper..." I am having some difficulty. I do have of course "different background/image for each monitor"

I see two large monitors with blue backgrounds. Monitors 3 & 4 are dimmed out as I do not have 3 or 4 monitors. Anyway, when I choose new wallpaper and browse to the file, the picture will only apply to the first monitor (primary). I added 5 new wallpapers and each time, only my primary monitor changes in the preview and when I click OK. Meanwhile, my secondary monitor gets just the blue background.

I have tried clicking/doubling clicking the 2nd monitor box in the wallpaper manager and I can't get the manager to display two different wallpapers. This is a key idea here as I do see beforehand that UltraMon is not allowing me to assign to different wallpapers and I do not understand why. Technically, in some way it is allowing me to have the plain blue background for the secondary... but just not a picture.

However, I have no control over the color. If I try to change the color, it will just change the 1st (primary) monitor.

I have ATI Hydravision installed, MultiDesk and Desktop Manager UnLoaded.

I have an ATI Radeon 7000 AGP Video Card and ATI Radeon 7000 PCI Video Card.

Thank you for any help you can give me here!

Do the following to create a new wallpaper with a different image on each monitor:

1) click the 'New wallpaper' button to create the new wallpaper

2) make sure that 'a different background/image for each monitor' is selected

3) click the Browse button to select an image for the first monitor

4) now select the second monitor by clicking on the monitor's icon or by selecting it from the list

5) click the Browse button again to select an image for the second monitor

You'll now have a wallpaper with a different image on each monitor.

If you want to delete a wallpaper, right-click it and select Delete from the menu.
