Forums -> UltraMon™ -> New Feature Suggestion - Automatic Wallpaper Switching

I just got my system just about tweaked (well, except for the ATI TV application) with three 19" monitors on an ATI All-In-Wonder 9600 AGP and an ATI Radeon 9200 PCI. I really feel multiple monitors is a boon to productivity, what with all the milli-seconds I save from switching between applications. Ultramon has enhanced this experience greatly, so it was no problem at all to register this fine piece of software. There is one thing I would like it to be able to do, though, since I had to abandon my wallpaper switcher that was not multi-monitor capable - I would really like to be able to have it automatically switch wallpapers. A specified time to switch, a file list perhaps, automatically switching on opening, etc.

I have been taking these panoramic photographs for several years and never knew what I was going to do with them, and Ultramon showed me exactly what to do with them! They are impressive spanned across three monitors, though, and having to manually switch when I want to view a different one is ok, but having the program do it for you automatically would be great. You would gain an entire new audience for your software from this change, I am certain!

Thank you,

Thanks for the suggestion, this feature is being considered for UltraMon 3.

What's already possible is switching UltraMon wallpapers using a custom script, see this thread for details.

I knew there had to be a way to do that, I just hadn't had time to try to figure it out. Thanks I will try the script out this week!
