I have my Lotus Notes maximized running on the second monitor. When ever I receive a message that I have new email and click on the button to Open Mail, the size of Lotus notes is not Maximized even though it is marked as maximized. I have to click on that button twice to get it back to full screen.
In my playing with this, it does not happen on my first monitor.
I am running version 2.5.220
Here are my monitor settings
Monitor 1 - Dell 1801FP (Digital) (primary): Settings: 1280x1024, 32-bit color, 60 Hz refresh rate Coordinates: 0,0 - 1280,1024. Workspace: 0,0 - 1280,990 Video card: Matrox Millennium G550 - English Device: \\.\DISPLAY1\Monitor1
Monitor 2 - Dell P991: Settings: 1280x960, 32-bit color, 60 Hz refresh rate Coordinates: 1280,0 - 2560,960. Workspace: 1280,0 - 2560,960 Video card: Matrox Millennium G550 - English Device: \\.\DISPLAY2\Monitor0
Thanks Dave

That's most likely an issue with Lotus Notes, please check if you have the same problem without UltraMon running (you can close UltraMon via UltraMon menu > Close).

I did not have this problem prior to installing UltraMon.
Thanks Dave

Do you still have the problem after closing UltraMon and restarting Lotus Notes?

No. I do not have this problem when I turn off UltraMon. But after I turned it on again and got my first email it happened.
Thanks Dave

Some things you could try for further troubleshooting:
- if you have Matrox PowerDesk running, try disabling it. You can do this with msconfig.exe, on the Startup tab
- disable the Smart Taskbar under UltraMon Options > Smart Taskbar
- disable custom menu commands under UltraMon Options > Window Menu
- disable custom window buttons under UltraMon Options > Window Title Bar
I tested with Lotus Notes 6.5.1 on Windows XP SP1, but wasn't able to reproduce the problem. I didn't get a 'new mail' dialog though, the notification was via a system tray icon, and when double-clicking the new mail it was opened maximized inside the main Notes window.
