Using two monitors with Ultramon 2.5 on Win XP Pro we experience a problem when we stop (toggle off) the mirroring feature. The Task Bar is left behind on secondary monitor and the primary monitor has the short cuts gapped down to the bottom of the screen with no Task Bar. We tried all (we think) the combinations of settings like using the Smart Task Bar or standard etc. Being able to toggle on and off the Mirroring feature is important to our work flow.

This might happen if the Windows taskbar is on the mirror target monitor, the problem is that UltraMon may not be able to restore the position of the Windows taskbar when mirroring is stopped.

As a workaround, make sure the Windows taskbar is on the mirror source monitor.

For example, you want to mirror the primary monitor (monitor 1) on the secondary monitor (monitor 2):

- in mirroring settings, select monitor 2 and set it to mirror monitor 1

- move the Windows taskbar to monitor 1 if necessary
