I have windows 2000 and I am unable to run 2 diffrent or even the same screensaver on both monitors. The primary runs the screensaver and the secondary just goes blank, even if I have a screen saver selected for monitor 2. I have Geforce 2 GTS, and a TNT pci, both using latests Detonator 3 drivers.

Does it work if you use a standard Windows screen saver (for example Beziers) on the second monitor?
You can also send me the download links for the screen savers and I'll test them on my system.

I have similar problem with win2k. In the UltraMon screensaver setting details, one monitor can have a screen saver selected in the drop down box. The drop down box for other monitor will disappear after you press ok. So if you go back to settings the second time. you will see a screen saver selected for one monitor, the other will have nothing. That's why the other monitor is always blank...

You should only click OK when you have selected a screen saver for each monitor: first select the screen saver for the primary monitor, then click on the Monitor 2 tab to select one for the second monitor (your settings for the primary monitor will be preserved). When you are finished, click OK to save your settings.

Mmm.... it's weird, it's saving the settings for me, but it's not showing up on screen. The second time around, it's not in tab for Primary. Here's what I did: 1.) Right after I select screensaver for Primary (Seti@home) and Monitor 1 (Marquee), check with preview INSIDE UltraMon Screen Saver, both shows up fine. Click OK to return to Display Properties. I looked into the registry in \Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\2.0\UltraMonSaver\ and it shows 1 C:\WINNT\System32\ssmarque.scr 2 C:\WINNT\SETIhome.scr
2.) Click Preview in Display Properties Only marquee shows up. SETIhome didn't come up, only shows background of desktop
3.) Click SETTINGS for UltraMon Screen Saver2, SETI@home is gone, Marquee is on Monitor1. Click ok. now registry shows 1 C:\WINNT\System32\ssmarque.scr 2
I am using version: 2.0 Beta 3 downloaded not long ago.... Running win2k ATi Rage Pro as Primary (Primary - monitor 2) S3 Savage 4 (Diamond Stealth 520) as secondary (monitor 1)
Anywhere where screensaver info is saved where I can look at?
thanks for looking into this =) regards, Kelvin

Not sure what's causing this. Which version of SETI@Home are you using? I tested with 3.03, which has multimon support and requires you to run it in preview mode. But this didn't work at all, I had to logoff to exit the screen saver...

Hi,
I have 3.03 as well. But you can't have two SETi@home on both screens. Anyway, even if I don't use SETI, (just normal star field and marquee), it still doesn't save. Oh well........ =) Thanks for your time anyway =)
