Hi,
I'm using the NVidia Drivers (v. 45.23) and the latest Ultramon (Trial) just downloaded today. When I first installed Ultramon, it was was working fine (I have a dual display setup and I like to enable a taskbar for the secondary monitor).
Upon a restart, I came across a problem.. my taskbar was acting funny, with those dividers on the bar, which set how many active windows on display set to a really small size. With a lot of messing about, I finally managed to get rid of one, but seems to be permanently stuck there and I cannot move it right - only left, but in doing so, it will force the active windows into a smaller size, eventually having to use the up/down control you get when you have too many active windows to display.
I tried to do a reinstall and everything, but after a restart, it just seems to go all wrong again. Does anyone else have this problem?
Since I don't think that I am explaining things too well by words, here's a picture with a bit highlighted in red that I am talking about. I want to get rid of it!!

or if the pic isn't showing right, you can see it here:

Your help is appreciated.

What happens if you right-click the free area between the task list and the language bar? Do you get a menu with Close Toolbar or similar on it?
Unfortunately I have no idea what would cause this, UltraMon doesn't change any taskbar settings and also doesn't install a custom desktop toolbar.

Thanks for the reply.
When I right click on that space, I get the usual context menu. I can enable/disable the Quicklaunch and the Language bar, but the dividing space thingy still remains the same. It seems that I cannot do anything with it at all! (Except move it left - increase the size, but that would have the effect of decreasing the amount of available space for the windows).

Not sure if this will help, but you could try dragging the free area off the taskbar and drop it on the desktop. This should work if the free area is actually a desktop toolbar.

Well, I rebooted the computer finally, and the free area has since disappeared!
But now I have a different problem! None of my applications (IE, etc) are showing up in the taskbar on my main display! They are working fine with the Ultramon bar, but when I minimize an application on the main display, it seems to minimize itself into the quicklaunch tray! But.. I have tried to remove the quicklaunch, language bar and my applications are nowhere to be seen. I can only switch to them by Alt-tabbing through them all!
Very strange... any more ideas?

Please send me your taskbar settings and the system information from the UltraMon About dialog to support@realtimesoft.com.
To export the taskbar settings to a file, open regedit.exe, select the registry key 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\Smart Taskbar', then select File\Export from the menu to save the key to a .reg file.
Select About from the UltraMon menu to copy the system information (number of monitors, current configuration etc).
