This is slightly off topic but I'm sure some of you kind people can help me :)
I have bought two new 19" Philips monitors. Both are the same model - 109B40/00. Both are connected to a single GeForceFX 5600.
I've been using the replacement monitor for a week now and I have since realised that there is a difference in "brightness". The difference is easily spotted so that when you open a Windows Explorer window on each monitor, you can tell that the right monitor's white is better while the one of the left is like 'cream'.
BTW, I've reset the monitor settings on each monitor to factory default and tried chaging the brightness AND contrast settings for hours, but to no avail.
I've showed it to other people and they agreed with my observation.
Is this normal?
ie. Should I phone up Philips and ask them to get me another replacement monitor because of this?
TIA!
