Returning something sounds simple until it’s not in perfect condition anymore or you don’t have everything it came with. That’s when you realize the policy isn’t as flexible as you thought. Sometimes it works smoothly, sometimes it turns into explaining the same thing twice. If you’ve returned stuff there, how strict are they when it’s not a clean, perfect return?

Returns always sound easiest in the best-case version, then real life gets in the way and suddenly something is missing, opened, or not in perfect shape anymore. What usually matters then is whether the store treats it like a normal customer situation or makes the whole thing depend on every detail being ideal. People asking about sam club return policy are usually trying to figure out exactly that line, where the item is not a disaster but also not a perfect return either. In my experience, the stress comes less from the item itself and more from how much explaining the process turns into.
