Hi, don't know if it matches your question exactly, but i do usually watch TV on one monitor, during surfing, irc'ing, working on the other one. Only limitation: the TV no matter if windowed or fullscreen only runs on the primary card.
But i do not use a TV-tuner, but a TV-card (pci). I guess if this is possible it should not be a problem to use a TV-tuner as well.
