Someone mentioned this software to me....what I would like to do is be able to game on one monitor, and leave my desktop open on the other so I can still keep track of email, IMs, etc. Right now I have the Xstasy AGP 64ddr mx 440 board....dual monitors work great, but only act as one LONG expanded desktop..hence when I launch a game, my primary monitor fires up the game and the other goes blank, until I exit out of the game.
Would this software allow me to do what I want from your experience with it?
Thanks!

UltraMon won't help with this. Check your nView settings, if you are using stretched (spanned) mode, try using independent displays mode, this might fix the problem.

Hrm...I see the options, but the only ones I have are to not use 2nd monitor, clone the 1st monitor, or stretch desktop horozontally or vertically.....nothing about independent desktops, per say........

If you are using Windows 2000, make sure you have the Nvidia 28.32 drivers or later. See this thread for more information.
