Hi,
I am running a 10 monitor system for multimedia - dual head on G550 plus 2 x mmsg200 quad cards via win2k and latest unified matrox driver & powerdesk. It works well giving me potentially 10 different apps runnimg in their own windows. What is disappointing is that clone mode only works with the 2 g550 controlled monitors and matrox have confirmed that clone mode does not work with the g200's ('coming soon' they say).

I note ultramon provides mirroring but also see fromn this forum that it's not the same as true cloning. I want to clone one video window (windows media player for example) across all 10 and also clone a graphics generator/visualiser.The PC is used for video editing (firewire 1394 card) too so i don't want to mess up too many sdettings. Will multimon handle that ?

Many thanks

In theory this does work, but a) performance will be bad, and b) mirroring video applications currently doesn't work on all systems.

A VGA splitter may be the best option.
