i have this problem displaying text on the secondery monitor. on some softwares the text is all garbeled. sometimes it can be fixed by reducing and enlarging the window, but somtimes even that wont do.
i have voodoo 2 as a primery card and ati rage on the secondery.
apart from that it`s working fine so i don`t think it`s the specific ati rage problem.

Sounds like a problem with the display driver. Try getting the latest driver, if that doesn't fix it, you could also try the ATI fix: http://support.atitech.ca/infobase/3025.html. As a last resort, set the ATI as primary in BIOS. If you use Win2000, you can then set the Voodoo as primary in Win2000.
