I have downloaded the trial version but it required me to register it after 30 min of use.
Ain't that supposed to be for 30 days trial period?

It should be 30 days. Make sure you have Beta 6 and not Beta 5, and Windows Installer 1.1 or later. To check this, go to the directory C:\Windows\System, right-click msi.dll and check the file version.
