25% of the time when my laptop boots up ultramon crashes right away, it started happening when I set my main taskbar to autohide and it followed. Also not a support thing but I was surprised that ultramon works with Yod'm 3d so kudos to that.

Do you get an error message from UltraMon or just a generic crash message?
I'm aware of an issue with UltraMon crashing (generic error) when autohide is enabled and you connect to your system via Remote Desktop, I'm not sure though if that's the same issue you're seeing.

I am not connecting via a remote desktop I just login and right when Ultramon loads I get a generic ultramon has stopped working, it started happening when I set my taskbar to autohide.

Most likely your issue will be fixed as well, let me know if you still see this with the next release (unfortunately I don't have a release date yet).
The Smart Taskbar will probably work fine if you restart it manually, in general autohide should work.
