I just bought a USB/DVI display adapter ( http://sewelldirect.com/USB-to-DVI-External-Video-Card-High-Resolution.asp ) so that I can have a second external monitor on my laptop. It's generally working just fine and Ultramon is extending my desktop to it and giving me the smart taskbar, etc.
However, when my laptop goes into screen saver mode and eventually turns off screens, it only turns off my laptop screen and the external monitor attached via the VGA port. The monitor attached to the USB/DVI adapter doesn't go to energy-saving mode--it actually just clears the screen so I see the background image that is configured for that screen.
Does anyone know if this would be an Ultramon issue or an issue with the USB/DVI adapter?
Thanks!

Turning off the monitors is handled by Windows, my guess would be that this is an issue with the driver for the USB video card.
