I cannot believe Vista didn't have these features already integrated within the OS. Anyways since using Ultramon which I really like, I have noticed the screens will flash at random when opening applications, or sometimes just whenever. Also my Yahoo messeneger will just shut down at random and it didn't do that before downloading ultramon. So anyone have any ideas or are these just some known issues that need fixed. BTW I am using the new Beta version. Thanks for the help.

Are you using 3.0.2 (3.0 Beta 2.1)?

Yes that is correct. I am using the Beta the one that is recommended for Vista. I am running Vista Ultimate on a Dell Vostro 1500 with Nvidia GeForce 8400GMS 128mb dedicated memory Graphics Card. My Sep. monitor is a Viewsonic VA2026w. So hopefully that can help. I noticed that when using ultramon the Yahoo drops out every once in a while but it isn't as bad with the ne Beta Version of Yahoo IM. So any thoughts tips, would be great. But again the screen will just kinda flash briefly. It really isn't a huge deal but just an annoyance. It reminds me of when your laptop screen flashes briefly before shutting down when the battery runs out. Thanks for any help.

BTW is there a way to have all your desktop icons on both monitors along with the quick launch Icons. Now that would be sweet! I was hoping it could do that but I have not figured out a way to do it. Another thing just for a questions, why would Microsoft not include these kinds of features within the OX. It just seems pretty stupid to me. Especially in the Ultimate edition,w ell not so Ultimate IMO.

I haven't seen any flashing myself so far, one thing you could check is if the problem goes away if you disable the UltraMon window buttons under UltraMon Options > Buttons and Menu Commands.
I'll try to reproduce the issue with Yahoo Messenger, will let you know if I find out anything.
Regarding the desktop icons: UltraMon has no special support for this, but you could create copies of the icons and place them on the second monitor. If automatic icon positioning is enabled in UltraMon (UltraMon Options > General, preserve position of desktop icons), you should give each copy a new name, otherwise the icons will be placed on top of each other.
