More information:

Please let me know if you think this is a printer driver problem, an OS problem or an Ultramon problem. TIA

Does this happen when you click on the application's button on the taskbar?

Well, now I can't reproduce the problem.
Before, it happened after printing from word 2007 and then clicking on the printer button on the taskbar (secondary window).

same problem here with the same version of UltraMon.
the pattern is that when I was doing excel 2007 in extended monitor, and then try to print out the sheets to a network printer, after printed and click any program in the smart taskbar, it just crash.
please notify if there is any solutions, thanks.

Rex, do you get the same error message, fatal error in TaskBand.cpp at line 710?

I also get frequent crashes at line 710 in taskband.cpp under Vista x64 using 3.0 beta 2.1.
Debug: 2 monitors Current desktop: 2560x1024 (0,0 - 2560,1024)
Monitor 1 - Generic PnP Monitor (primary): Settings: 1280x1024, 32-bit color, 75 Hz refresh rate Coordinates: 0,0 - 1280,1024. Workspace: 0,0 - 1280,994 Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS Device: \\.\DISPLAY1\Monitor0
Monitor 2 - Generic PnP Monitor: Settings: 1280x1024, 32-bit color, 75 Hz refresh rate Coordinates: 1280,0 - 2560,1024. Workspace: 1280,0 - 2560,994 Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS Device: \\.\DISPLAY2\Monitor0
I'm unable to reproduce the problem, though. It does seem to happen when pressing the application's taskbar button! It happens in all sorts of programs, both when minimized or maximized.

I'm going to look into this for the next release, not sure yet what exactly causes it though.
