I just purchased a copy of UltraMon 2.71 for use on my XP x64 machine running 2 Samsung 20" widescreen DVI displays on a Nvidia GeForce 7950GT card.
UltraMon runs through the setup fine but prompts me that the Mirror driver is not approved to work with my hardware. I tell it to install anyway and the installation finishes fine...
...Once the computer restarts however I completely lose all trace of my driver for the 7950...
Basically what happens is when the computer restarts and the I get to the login screen it is displaying everything at the lowest possible resolution.. when Windows starts it tells me that my display driver could not be loaded and that the default VGA driver will be loaded instead.
The only way to fix the issue is to uninstall UltraMon and reinstall my 7950 driver. I would really like to use the software as I have just spent $40 on it but I can't seem to find any info on this bug.
The only thing I can think of that I haven't tried (because i'm thinking it will stop the installation) is telling the mirror driver not to install mid-setup. I hope this is enough info to give somebody a clue as to what my problem is - hopefully there is a fix. If you guys need any additional info please let me know. Thanks.

This seems to be a compatibility issue with UltraMon's mirroring feature, see this thread for more information.
