Hi,
I just installed the Vista SP1 Release Candidate and have noticed now that when I have two screens running, and use my shortcut key (or use the menu) to disable the secondary the screen just goes black.
Other applications are running in the background as normal (I have a G15 and the LCD panel still displays current information), and the mouse is still visible.
When CTRL+ALT+DEL is pressed, the mouse acts like it is doing something, then stops again (like it actually loads it), however the screen doesn't display anything differently. The only way out is to restart.
Just wondering if anyone else experienced this problem as well?

I haven't tested with SP1 yet, but that's most likely a Vista or display driver issue, I would recommend filing a bug report with Microsoft.

Just checked and this appears to be fixed in 3.0.2, will let you know if it happens again.
Cheers,

This isn't fixed in the latest version after all. It only seems to happen after Windows has been on for a while. I also noticed that in SP1 (RC1), when the package was installed, my primary display changed from the left screen to the right one.

Do you have a display profile set up via UltraMon?

Issue is with Vista SP1 (RC1), Microsoft's solution is:
DO NOT INSTALL VISTA SP1 (RC1) ON PCs WITH MULTIPLE MONITORS!
Good Job Microsoft!

Confirmed here as well. Is that seriously MS's recommendation? I wouldn't dream of uninstalling Vista SP1 RC1 due to all the performance updates...shame on you MS.

Having the same problem, but removing UltraMon seems to fix the problem (not being able to come back from monitors in suspense).
Has anyone tried to use older stable releases to work?
