Hello!
I started using UltraMon 3days ago (trial version). I use a Samsung 245b 24" widescreen with next to it a Samsung Syncmaster 710t.
Since I've installed UltraMon I have this weird driver problem. Don't know if the problem is UltraMon, but I hope somebody can help me.
When I boot my PC for the first time, it brings me to windows xp, but in low resolution/low color mode (800x600 & 4bit colors). When I rightclick on my desktop -> properties -> settings, I get this popup saying that the selected VGA driver can't be used because it is written for an earlier version of windows and is no longer compatible with the current version I have.
This is so weird, because I have not installed ANY windows updates in the last few weeks.
So I decided to get the latest NVidia drivers (I have a Geforce 8600GTS) for my OS (windows xp). I install them, reboot, and all is back to normal again.
But when I shut down my PC, and turn it back on the next day, it just repeats itself! I have to install the drivers again, reboot, then I can work.. It's ok for 2 times, but I want to get this sorted out now.. I don't know what to do.
Hope somebody has a solution!
Thanks :)

This seems to be a compatibility issue with UltraMon's mirroring feature and some video card driver versions, removing the mirroring feature will fix the problem.
To do this, go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs, select UltraMon from the list, click on Change, then deselect the mirroring feature on the Customize Installation screen.
