My set ups a little bit weird but its worked for me before but isn't now for some reason. I'm using my HDtv as my 2nd monitor and its connected by a VGA to DVI cable. My problem is when I open a media player either WMP or VLC and move it over to the HDtv the video doesnt show up the players there and all the options show up but the video doesn't. I can tell that its playing cause the sound is still going off and when I switch back to lcd it shows up. I have no idea what to do anyone can help me out

Are you using a recent version of WMP?
Usually this happens if the video player doesn't handle video overlays correctly when it gets moved to the other monitor, but WMP should have no problems with this.

yea I am and I finally got the video to work by turning off the hardware acceleration. Read it in another thread. still not sure why I would have to do that though but thanks for the help
