I have an over/under (vertical) setup for my dual monitor system. Both monitors are identical and the bottom monitor is where the Windows taskbar (with Start button) is docked, in the traditional bottom-of-screen location.
I have the UltraMon SmartTaskbar extended onto the top monitor, docking it at the top of the screen.
My problem is that every time I logon, UltraMon shifts the icons on the desktop for the top monitor down by one grid position. The icons already at the bottom of the screen are placed at the top left (e.g., default) of the top monitor.
I've tried placing the icons in a lower position, so that they don't "get in the way" of the SmartTaskbar, but UM moves them regardless.
This behavior is happening with "preserve icon position" enabled.
