I'm assessing Ultramon and instantly I liked it's comaptibility with XP and everything just worked. However in Excel, if I extend the programme window across both desktops, it seems I'm limited as to how much I can extend the worksheet. This is a pity as I regularly use a couple spreadsheets that have lots of columns and the ease of extending the worksheets would be viable reason on its own to purchase Ultramon. Any comments please

The worksheet should also get extended across all monitors, and you should still be able to scroll horizontally.
What happens when you extend the main Excel window across both monitors?

The Excel window stretches all the way over, however the worksheet remains within the original monitor. If I open in the left monitor(1), the edge of the worksheet just shows a tiny part in the second monitor and If I try and manually stretch that, no dice. If I open Excel in monitor 2, and then stretch, the window does, but it moves the worksheet to the left, just as if it had been opened in monitor 1.

Most likely the worksheet isn't maximized, you can maximize it by clicking the maximize button of the worksheet window.
Once the worksheet is maximized, it will get sized together with the main Excel window.

Thanks agin for the response, unfortunately I tried that. The minimise, full screen, close icons etc. go to the right hand side as if the window is stretched, but the panel with the cells only extends just that tiny part on to the other monitor. I'm wondering if it's an excel issue? Have you had any problems with this hppening in other programs before?

Unfortunately I don't know what might cause this, works fine for me with Excel 2007 (I also don't remember having had problems with earlier versions of Excel).
