Hi there,
I've used Ultramon for over a year now, has always worked fine. Last week I bought a new laptop, a Sony Vaio, I attached my old Acer screen to it, the flat screen got really blurry, especially the letters.
Called Acer and Sony, appearently the monitor is old and not compatible with Vista?? Anyway, I bought myself a 22'' ViewSonic monitor yesterday and plugged it in.
I am having the same results, blurry, poor quality. I've seen the monitor in the store, it was cristal clear.
Please advise?

That's most likely just a configuration issue, with monitors connected via an analog (VGA) port, you usually need to adjust monitor settings or use the monitor's automatic configuration option when connecting the monitor for the first time.

Are you just referring to the difference between DVI and VGA signals? Most laptops only have VGA out. If the monitor was hooked up in the store as DVI, it would have been crystal clear. Furthermore, with LCDs, you have to be running the one and only native resolution of the monitor. If your laptop runs the monitor at any other resolution, it will be blurry.
