Are there any plans to include the above as options to place on the smart taskbar. i often find myself working one screen for one task, and the other screen for another and would find it useful; to see the clock and the start menu and quicklaunch for program access. this is the only thing stopping me from purchasing ultramon
Another idea i'd like to see is an incorporated runbox. like the one from the start menu, no drop down, no history, no ok, cancel. just a box that acts like the windows run box.

The 3.0 Beta 1 release has support for adding regular toolbars to the UltraMon taskbars, but unfortunately most Microsoft toolbars like Quick Launch don't work with UltraMon.
What does work fine though is the True Launch Bar, a Quick Launch replacement.
Support for a clock is planned, I'll also consider a built-in run toolbar, but you might already be able to do this with a third-party toolbar.
Support for a start menu will be considered for UltraMon 3, but I don't know yet if this can/will be implemented.

Do i need the 3.0 beta Version or will it works with the 2.7.1 release? I have WinXP.
How can I place the bar on the second Taskbar? ( i've 2.7.1 )

You'll need version 3, 2.7.1 doesn't support adding toolbars to the UltraMon taskbars.
