I haven't seen this myself so far, please check if the problem goes away if you close UltraMon.

When i close UltraMon, this problem is immediately over! I already have disabled the UAC in windows Vista.
I set the process priority on "Normal" in UltraMon.

Do you also have this problem if process priority for the Smart Taskbar is set to Low?

hi,
now the problem seems to be fixed when i set the priority to low :)
thank u very much.
it seems to be a conflict between UltraMon and windows: When i want to minimize the mediaplayer on my second screen, UltraMon wants to place him in the taskbar on the second screen, BUT i think that windows wants to make it a taskbar mini-player on my primary screen.....

I'll look into this for the next release.

Try turning off the Media Player Toolbar. When I have this on explorer goes to 100% CPU usage every time I min/max the window.. for about 20 seconds.
I can't use the mini controls on the toolbar with UltraMon (I'm talking about the primary monitor too).. which really sucks.. but UltraMon is more important to me

Almost forgot to mention it's not only when max/minimizing the window. It does it at random intervals as long as Media Player is open. Magically fixed when Media Player Toolbar is off.

Me AGAIN.. Your solution for someone elses problem, where you said to put wmplayer.exe in the list of programs to exclude from putting the menu options worked for this problem. No more CPU spikes. Min/max works instantly with the media player toolbar.
